Cancellation & Refund Policy \u2013 AIMI Online Arabic Program<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to the online Arabic program of Arabic in Madinah Institute (AIMI)<\/strong>. By enrolling and making a payment, the student declares to have taken note of this policy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Cancellation by the student<\/h2>

A cancellation request must be submitted in writing to AIMI.<\/p>

The date on which AIMI receives the written cancellation request determines any refund.<\/p>

Cancellation before the program starts<\/h2>

If a student cancels before the official start date of the program, a partial refund may be possible depending on the timing of the cancellation and the services already provided.<\/p>

Any administration fees, payment costs, and costs for services already carried out may be deducted from the amount to be refunded.<\/p>

If different cancellation terms are stated for a specific program at the time of purchase, those specific terms apply.<\/p>

Cancellation after the program has started<\/h2>

Once the program has officially started, no refund is generally granted for the remaining program.<\/p>

This also applies when the student:<\/p>

  • decides to voluntarily stop;<\/li>
  • is no longer able to attend the lessons;<\/li>
  • is unavailable due to work or studies;<\/li>
  • goes on holiday;<\/li>
  • moves or travels to a different time zone or country;<\/li>
  • makes insufficient use of the learning environment;<\/li>
  • is not satisfied with their own study progress.<\/li><\/ul>

    Missed lessons<\/h2>

    If a student misses a lesson due to personal circumstances, illness, work, holiday, technical problems on the student's side, or another personal reason, there is no right to a refund.<\/p>

    A missed group lesson is not automatically replaced by an individual lesson.<\/p>

    If a recording of the relevant lesson is available, the student can view it during the period in which they have access to the recording.<\/p>

    Technical problems<\/h2>

    The student is responsible for having a suitable internet connection and equipment in order to attend the online lessons.<\/p>

    Technical problems on the student's side do not give the right to a refund.<\/p>

    If a lesson cannot take place, or largely cannot take place, due to a technical malfunction on AIMI's side, AIMI will, where possible:<\/p>

    • reschedule the lesson;<\/li>
    • offer a replacement lesson; or<\/li>
    • offer another suitable solution.<\/li><\/ul>

      Change of teacher<\/h2>

      AIMI determines which teachers are assigned to groups and may replace a teacher if necessary.<\/p>

      A change of teacher does not give the right to a refund, as long as AIMI continues to offer the agreed educational program.<\/p>

      Changes in schedule or planning<\/h2>

      AIMI may make changes to the class schedule or planning when reasonably necessary.<\/p>

      A limited or reasonable change to the lesson time, teacher, or planning does not automatically give the right to cancellation or a refund.<\/p>

      If AIMI makes a material change that means the student can no longer reasonably follow the agreed program, AIMI will assess the situation individually and, where appropriate, offer an alternative solution.<\/p>

      Cancellation by AIMI<\/h2>

      If AIMI cancels the entire program and cannot offer a reasonable alternative or replacement program, the student is entitled to a refund of the amount relating to the services not provided.<\/p>

      If only one or more lessons are cancelled by AIMI, AIMI will first attempt to reschedule these lessons or replace them in another suitable way.<\/p>

      Removal due to misconduct<\/h2>

      If a student is removed from the program due to serious or repeated misconduct, misuse of the learning environment, sharing accounts or course materials, or a serious violation of the General Terms and Conditions, there is no automatic right to a refund.<\/p>

      Payment and transaction costs<\/h2>

      When a refund is granted, non-refundable payment costs, bank fees, or transaction costs may, where legally permitted, be deducted from the amount to be refunded.<\/p>

      Any currency differences resulting from exchange rates are, in principle, outside AIMI's responsibility.<\/p>

      Processing of refunds<\/h2>

      Once AIMI confirms that a student is entitled to a refund, the amount will be processed as soon as possible.<\/p>

      The actual processing time may depend on the bank, payment provider, and payment method used.<\/p>

      Where possible, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original payment.<\/p>

      Exceptional circumstances<\/h2>

      In exceptional and demonstrable circumstances, AIMI may, at its own discretion, decide to offer an alternative solution, for example:<\/p>

      • transfer to a later course;<\/li>
      • temporary suspension of participation;<\/li>
      • course credit;<\/li>
      • another suitable solution.<\/li><\/ul>

        Such accommodation is voluntary and does not create a right to the same arrangement for other or future cases.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
